Winter, a white car, is asleep on top of my computer monitor. Her front paws are reached straight out in front of her, as if she were flying. The photo has these words on it: "Winter keeping Ken company at the computer."

Winter, who has lymphoma, joined our family of special needs dogs and cats with her daughter Snow, who was blind.
